Cindy Akers is the founder and President of LEAN ON ME, LLC; Dedicated to helping people care for themselves and family members whose needs are changing due to age or illness. Cindy  is a member of the National Association Of Social Workers and a member of the National family Caregiving Association. Cindy has provided families with home care and personal care since 1996 in collaboration with other Social Workers, Doctors, RN’s, and agencies such as Home Health, the Division On Aging and many hospitals throughout Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia. Cindy serves as a advocate for the elderly, and disabled as well as for children in foster care and residential care. Communicating often with members of congress and state officials to implement needed care for all individuals.
